This recipe features tender cod strips sautéed in garlic butter, paired with a bright and zesty cilantro lime sauce. It’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for a light dinner.


Ingredients

For the Cod

  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

For the Cilantro Lime Sauce

  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil for smoother texture

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce
    Blend cilantro, lime juice, Greek yogurt, garlic, and olive oil (if using) in a food processor or blender until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Cook the cod strips
    • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
    • Add cod strips, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Serve
    Drizzle cod strips with cilantro lime sauce or serve on the side for dipping.
