Garlic bread

Posted on January 28, 2026 by Admin

Oh yes 😄 Garlic bread is a classic favorite—crispy, buttery, and full of garlicky goodness. Here’s a simple, foolproof recipe:

Garlic Bread

Ingredients (4–6 servings)

  • 1 loaf French bread, Italian bread, or baguette
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1–2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

1. Prep the bread

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise, or into thick slices if you prefer individual pieces.

2. Make the garlic butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.
  2. Optional: Mix in Parmesan cheese for cheesy garlic bread.

3. Spread and bake

  1. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut side(s) of the bread.
  2. Place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Bake 10–15 minutes, until the bread is golden and the butter is melted.
  4. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a crispier top.

4. Serve

  • Slice and serve warm with pasta, soups, or as a snack.

Tips

  • Extra flavor: Add a pinch of Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes to the butter.
  • Make-ahead: Prepare garlic butter ahead of time and refrigerate—spread on bread just before baking.
  • Crispier option: Wrap in foil and bake for soft garlic bread, or leave uncovered for a crisp crust.

I can also give a quick microwave + oven method for soft inside and crispy edges in under 10 minutes—perfect for last-minute garlic bread cravings.

Do you want me to do that?
