Posted on February 7, 2026 by Admin

Ooo yes—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside 🤤
Here’s a classic fried salmon patties recipe that never disappoints.

🐟 Fried Salmon Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14–15 oz) salmon, drained (remove skin & bones if you want)
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley (optional but nice)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2–3 tbsp oil (for frying)

How to Make

  1. Mix it up
In a bowl, flake the salmon and mix in egg, breadcrumbs, onion, seasonings, and lemon juice.
  2. Form patties
Shape into small patties (don’t make them too thick).
  3. Fry
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Drain & serve
Remove and drain on paper towels.

🔥 Serving Ideas

  • With tartar sauce or spicy mayo
  • Over a fresh salad
  • In a sandwich or slider
  • With rice + veggies for a cozy plate

Want a Southern-style, no-egg, air fryer, or fresh salmon version? I’ve got you 😉
