Here’s a simple, flavorful way to make a perfect fish fillet—crispy outside, tender inside, and super versatile.


🐟 Crispy Pan-Fried Fish Fillet

🔹 Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, basa, or any white fish)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili powder
  • 2 tbsp flour (or cornflour for extra crispiness)
  • 2 tbsp oil (for frying)
  • Juice of ½ lemon

🔹 Instructions

1. Season the fish

  • Pat the fillets dry (important for crispiness)
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
  • Lightly coat with flour

2. Pan-fry

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  • Place fish gently in the pan
  • Cook 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness)
  • Flip once—don’t move it too much

3. Finish

  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top
  • Optional: add a small knob of butter at the end for extra flavor

🔹 Optional Variations

🍋 Lemon Butter Sauce

  • Melt butter, add garlic + lemon juice, pour over fish

🌶️ Spicy Version

  • Add chili flakes + a pinch of cumin

🍯 Honey Garlic Glaze

  • Mix honey + soy sauce + garlic, drizzle over cooked fish

  • Rice or garlic butter rice
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Fresh salad
