Fettuccine Alfredo 🍝

Fettuccine Alfredo is a creamy Italian pasta dish made with fettuccine pasta, butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese. It’s rich, smooth, and very comforting.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the sauce
    In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  3. Add cream
    Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add cheese
    Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and thick.
  5. Combine pasta and sauce
    Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan and toss until the pasta is well coated.
  6. Season and serve
    Add salt, black pepper, and garnish with parsley.
