Deviled strawberries

Posted on April 7, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a fun and elegant treat: Deviled Strawberries—a sweet twist on classic deviled eggs, perfect for parties or dessert platters.

Deviled Strawberries (Serves 6–8)

Ingredients:

  • 12–16 large strawberries
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or a drizzle of chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Prep strawberries:
    • Wash and hull strawberries.
    • Cut a small slice off the bottom so they stand upright.
    • Hollow out the center with a small spoon or melon baller (about 1/3 of the strawberry).
  2. Make filling:
    • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill strawberries:
    • Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed strawberries.
  4. Garnish:
    • Top with mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or a drizzle of chocolate for extra flair.
  5. Chill & serve:
    • Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes to set the filling. Serve chilled.

Tips & Variations:

  • Sweet & tangy: Fold a little lemon zest or juice into the filling.
  • Chocolate lovers: Mix cocoa powder into the cream cheese filling.
  • Festive: Decorate with edible glitter or colored sugar for holidays.

If you want, I can also give a “decadent dessert version” where the strawberries are dipped in chocolate first and then filled—like mini chocolate-covered cheesecakes.

Do you want me to share that version?
