Crock Pot Teriyaki Steak Bites

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1.5 lbs (680 g) beef steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), cut into 1–2 inch cubes
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey or brown sugar
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (or ½ tsp ground ginger)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1–2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • 2–3 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce
    In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Add steak to Crock Pot
    Place steak cubes in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over the top. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Cook
    • Low: 4–5 hours
    • High: 2–3 hours
      Steak should be tender but not falling apart.
  4. Optional: Thicken sauce
    If you want a thicker glaze, remove a few tablespoons of the liquid, mix with cornstarch, then stir back into the Crock Pot and cook 10–15 more minutes.
  5. Serve
    Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.

  • For deeper flavor, sear steak briefly in a skillet before adding to the Crock Pot.
  • Add bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas in the last 30 minutes for a complete meal.
