Posted on February 28, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a creamy, comforting Crock Pot Chicken with Cream Cheese recipe — perfect for a hands-off dinner that’s rich, savory, and flavorful.

🍗 Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken (Serves 4–6)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or mushroom soup)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss) – optional topping
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Add chicken to crock pot

  • Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.

2️⃣ Mix sauce

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme. Stir until smooth.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until chicken is tender.

4️⃣ Optional: Add cheese

  • In the last 15–20 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for a creamy, hearty meal.

🔥 Tips

  • For extra flavor, sear chicken briefly in a skillet before adding to the crock pot.
  • You can add vegetables like mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers for a one-pot meal.
  • For a lighter version, use light cream cheese and low-sodium soup.

I can also give a crock pot version with ranch seasoning and bacon for a tangy, richer twist if you want.

Do you want me to share that version too?
