🍗🥛 Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo

A creamy, comforting pasta dish made easy in the slow cooker — tender chicken in rich Alfredo sauce, ready to serve over pasta.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the chicken

  • Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  • Sprinkle with garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2️⃣ Add liquids

  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  • Stir gently to combine.

3️⃣ Cook

  • LOW: 4–5 hours
  • HIGH: 2–3 hours
  • Chicken should be fully cooked and tender.

4️⃣ Shred chicken

  • Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the crock pot.

5️⃣ Add cheese & thicken sauce

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese (and butter if using).
  • Cook 10–15 more minutes until sauce is creamy and slightly thickened.

6️⃣ Cook pasta separately

  • Boil fettuccine or pasta of choice until al dente.
  • Drain and add to crock pot, tossing to coat with Alfredo sauce.

7️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

🌿 Tips & Variations

  • Add broccoli, peas, or mushrooms for a veggie boost.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half or a mixture of milk and cream cheese.
  • Spice it up with a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Leftovers reheat well and taste even creamier the next day.
