Here’s a super easy creamy slow cooker chicken that’s rich, cozy, and basically impossible to mess up.
Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken
Ingredients
- 1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 4 oz cream cheese (cubed)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning (or 1 tsp garlic powder + 1 tsp onion powder + salt & pepper)
- ½ tsp paprika (optional but nice)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Optional add-ins
- Mushrooms, sliced
- Baby spinach (stir in at the end)
- Frozen peas
- Crispy bacon bits on top 😏
Instructions
- Add chicken to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, broth, seasoning, and paprika. Pour over chicken.
- Dot cream cheese cubes on top.
- Cook:
- Low: 5–6 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- Shred or leave whole, then stir everything together until creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
How to serve it
- Over rice or mashed potatoes
- Tossed with egg noodles or pasta
- Over biscuits or toast
- With steamed broccoli or green beans on the side

- Stir in ¼ cup grated parmesan at the end
