🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1–2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • ½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

🔥 Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat butter or olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and just cooked. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in broth and simmer 1–2 minutes. Add cream and stir to combine. Let simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cayenne (if using).
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat, and heat 1–2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley or chives. Serve over rice, pasta, or with bread.
