Here’s a simple creamy seafood pasta recipe you can make at home 🍝🦐

Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 200 g mixed seafood (shrimp, prawns, calamari, mussels, or fish pieces)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3–4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or coriander
  • ½ cup pasta water (reserved)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    • Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
    • Reserve about ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook the seafood
    • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan.
    • Add seafood and cook 2–3 minutes until just done.
    • Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the creamy sauce
    • In the same pan add remaining butter.
    • Sauté onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
    • Pour in heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add cheese & seasoning
    • Stir in parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
    • Add a little pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  5. Combine everything
    • Add cooked pasta and seafood back into the pan.
    • Toss well to coat the pasta in sauce.
  6. Finish
    • Add lemon juice and parsley.
    • Serve hot with extra parmesan on top. 🧀✨

✅ Tip: You can add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.

If you want, I can also give:

  • Restaurant-style creamy seafood pasta 🍤
  • White sauce seafood pasta like Alfredo
  • Budget version using canned tuna or frozen seafood.
