🥔 Creamy Ranch Potatoes

Ingredients (Serves 6)

  • 2 lbs (900 g) baby potatoes, halved (or russet potatoes, cubed)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.


2️⃣ Prepare the potatoes

  • Boil potatoes in salted water for 10–12 minutes until just fork-tender.
  • Drain and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the creamy ranch mixture

In a large bowl, mix together:

  • Ranch seasoning
  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Milk
  • Melted butter
  • Black pepper and garlic powder

4️⃣ Combine

  • Gently fold the potatoes into the creamy mixture.
  • Transfer to prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the top.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

6️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with parsley or green onions.
  • Serve hot.

  • Extra crispy top: Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • Add protein: Stir in cooked bacon or shredded chicken.
