Here’s a rich, creamy, and comforting Cream Cheese Spaghetti recipe—simple to make and packed with flavor.


Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta:
    • Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the meat:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground beef (or sausage) and onion; cook until browned.
    • Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.
  3. Make the sauce:
    • Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Prepare the creamy mixture:
    • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Combine:
    • Toss cooked spaghetti with the cream cheese mixture until coated.
    • Spread into a greased baking dish.
    • Pour meat sauce over the top.
  6. Add cheese & bake:
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve:
    • Let rest a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

  • Use chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
