Here’s a soft, gooey Cinnamon Roll recipe — fluffy rolls with sweet cinnamon filling and a creamy glaze 🍩✨


Classic Cinnamon Rolls

Serves: 8–12
Time: ~2–2.5 hours (including rising)


Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
  • 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough

  • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, mix remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs.
  • Add yeast mixture. Gradually fold in flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

2️⃣ Make the Filling

  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Roll dough into a rectangle (~16×12 inches).
  • Spread softened butter over dough, then sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly.

3️⃣ Roll & Slice

  • Roll dough tightly from the long side into a log.
  • Cut into 12 rolls and place in a greased 9×13-inch pan.

4️⃣ Second Rise

  • Cover and let rolls rise 30–45 minutes, until puffy.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.

6️⃣ Glaze

  • Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Tips & Variations

  • Add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling.
  • Brush melted butter over rolls before baking for extra richness.
  • Swap glaze for cream cheese frosting for a decadent treat.
