  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, softened

Glaze (Optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

🍳 Method

1. Prepare the Dough

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar; let it sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix melted butter, sugar, salt, and egg in a bowl.
  3. Gradually add flour and the yeast mixture, kneading until smooth and elastic (about 8–10 minutes).
  4. Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

2. Prepare the Filling

  1. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Roll out dough into a rectangle (~12×8 inches).
  3. Spread softened butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar evenly.

3. Roll & Slice

  2. Slice into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking pan.

4. Second Rise

  • Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes.

5. Bake

  • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

6. Glaze (Optional)

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla; drizzle over warm rolls.
