Here’s a classic Cinnamon Roll recipe—soft, fluffy, and packed with gooey cinnamon-sugar goodness 🌀🍥

🥐 Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, softened

Glaze (Optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

🍳 Method

1. Make the Dough

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg.
  3. Add flour gradually, then the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
  4. Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.

2. Prepare the Filling

  1. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Roll out dough into a rectangle (~12×8 inches).
  3. Spread softened butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar evenly over it.

3. Roll & Slice

  1. Roll dough tightly from the long side to form a log.
  2. Slice into 12 equal rolls and place in a greased baking pan.

4. Second Rise

  • Cover and let rolls rise 30–45 minutes.

5. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

6. Glaze (Optional)

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.

🍽️ Serving Tips

  • Best served warm straight from the oven.
  • Pair with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
  • Can add cream cheese frosting for an indulgent treat.

💡 Pro Tips:

  • Don’t overfill with cinnamon sugar—too much can leak out.
  • For extra gooeyness, add a sprinkle of raisins or chopped nuts inside.

I can also give you a 30-minute quick version that’s fluffy and soft without waiting hours for rises.
