Ahhh yes. Chocolate cake time 🍫🤎
Here’s a soft, super-moist chocolate cake that never fails.

🍫 Moist Chocolate Cake (Easy & Rich)

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup hot water or hot coffee (coffee = deeper chocolate flavor)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a cake pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat till smooth.
  4. Slowly stir in hot water/coffee (batter will be thin—perfect).
  5. Pour into pan and bake 30–35 min.
  6. Cool completely before frosting (if you can wait 😌).

🍫 Quick Chocolate Frosting

  • ½ cup butter (soft)
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Beat everything till fluffy. Spread generously.

  • Extra moist: swap milk for buttermilk or add ½ cup sour cream.
  • Fudgy: add chocolate chips to the batter.
