Here’s a classic base plus some fun twists so it never gets boring.

Classic Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 2–3 cups cooked chicken (diced or shredded)
  • ½ cup mayo (or Greek yogurt, or a mix)
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1–2 tbsp red onion or scallions
  • Salt & pepper
  • Squeeze of lemon or splash of vinegar

Mix it up: stir everything together, chill 15–30 minutes if you can.

Flavor Upgrades (pick a vibe)

  • Crunchy: chopped apples, grapes, toasted nuts
  • Savory: Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika
  • Fresh: dill, parsley, tarragon
  • Sweet & savory: dried cranberries + pecans
  • Spicy: sriracha, buffalo sauce, or curry powder

Lighter Version

  • Use Greek yogurt
  • Add lemon + herbs
  • Extra veggies for volume

How to Eat It

  • Sandwich or wrap
  • On crackers
  • Lettuce cups
  • Stuffed in a pita or avocado

🔥 Pro tip: Season after chilling—flavors pop more.
