Chicken Parmesan; Spaghetti

Posted on February 23, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a complete Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti recipe for a classic Italian-style dinner:

Ingredients (serves 2–4)

For the Chicken Parmesan:

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1–2 cups Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1–2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

For the Spaghetti:

  • 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or your preferred pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (you can use the same as for the chicken)
  • Salt for pasta water
  • Grated Parmesan for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  1. Slice or pound chicken breasts to ~1/2-inch thickness.
  2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge in flour → dip in beaten eggs → coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.

2. Cook the Chicken:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3. Assemble & Bake:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place fried chicken in a baking dish.
  3. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece.
  4. Top with mozzarella (and extra Parmesan if desired).
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).

4. Cook the Spaghetti:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
  3. Drain and toss with 1–2 cups of warm marinara sauce.

5. Serve:

  1. Place a portion of spaghetti on each plate.
  2. Top with a chicken breast.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and extra grated Parmesan.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the spaghetti sauce.
  • You can bake the chicken without frying to make it lighter: just coat, place in a greased baking dish, add sauce and cheese, and bake ~30–35 minutes.

If you want, I can make a step-by-step one-pan version where the chicken and spaghetti cook together for minimal cleanup and super creamy sauce.

Do you want me to do that?
