🍗 Perfect Chicken Breast (Juicy & Tender)

Chicken breasts are lean and versatile, but they can dry out easily — here’s how to get them tender and flavorful every time.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, lemon juice

🔥 Stovetop Pan-Seared Method

1️⃣ Flatten / even thickness

  • Pound breasts to uniform thickness (about ¾ inch) for even cooking.

2️⃣ Season

  • Brush with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook 5–7 minutes per side (depending on thickness).
  • Internal temperature: 165°F (74°C).

4️⃣ Rest

  • Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

🔥 Oven-Baked Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place seasoned breasts on baking sheet or in oven-safe dish.
  3. Bake 20–25 minutes (depending on size).
  4. Optional: broil 1–2 minutes at the end for golden top.

🌿 Tips

  • Brine in saltwater for 15–30 minutes for extra juicy meat.
  • Avoid overcooking — it dries out quickly.
  • Slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • Add a sauce, marinade, or butter herb topping for flavor.
