These cheesy chicken fritters are crispy outside, juicy inside, and perfect finger food for a relaxed meal or poolside spread.

🧀🍗 Cheesy Chicken Fritters

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (finely chopped or shredded)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour (or breadcrumbs)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or coriander
  • 1–2 green chilies (finely chopped, optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix everything
In a bowl, combine chicken, cheese, eggs, flour, mayo/yogurt, herbs, and spices. Mix until it forms a thick batter.
  2. Heat oil
Heat a thin layer of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook fritters
Scoop small portions (like mini patties) into the pan. Flatten slightly.
  4. Fry until golden
Cook 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
  5. Drain & serve
Place on paper towels and serve hot.

🔥 Tips for Best Results

  • Use cold chicken (leftovers work great)
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • Adjust flour if mixture feels too wet

🌿 Variations

  • Extra cheesy: Add small cheese cubes inside
  • Low-carb: Replace flour with almond flour
  • Spicy desi style: Add cumin, coriander powder, and a squeeze of lemon
  • Baked option: Bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway

🥣 Dipping Ideas

  • Garlic mayo
  • Spicy ketchup
  • Yogurt mint chutney

These go really well with your mac & cheese, broccoli salad, and mini meatloaf—great for a casual feast.

If you want, I can organize everything into a party menu with timing and prep order so it’s stress-free.
