Cheesesteak

Posted on March 19, 2026 by Admin

A cheesesteak (often called a Philly cheesesteak) is a hot sandwich loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and sautéed onions—simple, juicy, and incredibly satisfying.

🥪 Classic Cheesesteak

🛒 Ingredients:

  • Thinly sliced beef (ribeye is best)
  • Hoagie rolls or soft sandwich buns
  • Onion (sliced)
  • Cheese (provolone, American, or cheese sauce)
  • Oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper

🔪 How to Make It:

1. Cook the onions

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Sauté sliced onions until soft and slightly caramelized
  • Set aside

2. Cook the beef

  • In the same pan, add thin beef slices
  • Cook on high heat, breaking it up
  • Season with salt & pepper

3. Combine & melt cheese

  • Add onions back to the beef
  • Place cheese on top and let it melt
  • Mix lightly or leave it layered

4. Assemble

  • Toast the roll lightly
  • Load it up with the cheesy beef mixture

👉 Serve hot—it’s meant to be a little messy!

🧀 Cheese Options:

  • Provolone → mild and creamy
  • American cheese → smooth melt
  • Cheese sauce → classic street-style

🌶️ Variations:

  • Add bell peppers or mushrooms
  • Spicy version with jalapeños
  • Chicken cheesesteak (swap beef for chicken)

🌟 Halal Version:

  • Use halal beef or chicken
  • Check cheese and sauces are halal

😋 What makes it great?

  • Thin, tender meat
  • Melted, gooey cheese
  • Soft bread soaking up all the flavor
