Cheeseburger Pie

Yesss 😍 Cheeseburger Pie—easy, cozy, and total comfort food. This is the classic, family-favorite version (Bisquick-style, but I’ll give swaps too).


Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients (Serves 6)

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick (or baking mix)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

Optional add-ins:

  • Diced pickles
  • Cooked bacon
  • A little ketchup or mustard drizzle on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat to 400°F (205°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Cook the beef
    • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned.
    • Drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble the pie
    • Spread beef mixture evenly in the pie dish.
    • Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  4. Mix the batter
    • In a bowl, whisk Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth.
    • Pour over the beef and cheese.
  5. Bake
    • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until puffed, golden, and set in the center.
  6. Rest & serve
    • Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

🔥 Tips & Variations

  • No Bisquick? Mix 1/2 cup flour + 1 teaspoon baking powder + 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • Swap cheddar for Colby Jack or American cheese.
  • Serve with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce on top for full cheeseburger vibes.

This one is amazing with a simple salad, fries, or roasted veggies.
