Posted on February 27, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple, restaurant-quality recipe for Broiled Lobster Tails — tender, buttery, and perfectly cooked in minutes.

🦞 Broiled Lobster Tails

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Lobster Tails

  • Preheat oven broiler to high.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut down the top center of the shell to the tail.
  • Gently pull meat upward and rest it on top of the shell (butterfly style).
  • Pat dry and lightly season with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Make Garlic Butter

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, and paprika.

3️⃣ Broil

  • Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  • Brush generously with garlic butter.
  • Broil 4–8 minutes, depending on size (about 1 minute per ounce).
  • Lobster is done when meat is opaque and reaches 140–145°F internally.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Brush with additional garlic butter.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Tips for Perfect Lobster

  • Don’t overcook — lobster becomes rubbery quickly.
  • If tails are large, place rack slightly lower to prevent burning.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little grated Parmesan before broiling.

Serving Ideas

  • Serve with steak for a surf-and-turf dinner.
  • Pair with rice pilaf, roasted asparagus, or garlic mashed potatoes.
