Posted on January 25, 2026 by Admin

Oh yes 😍 Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread — sweet, tangy, and perfect for breakfast or brunch. Here’s a classic, moist version with a creamy swirl.

🫐🍞 Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread

Ingredients

For the cream cheese filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the bread:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (if frozen, don’t thaw)

Optional topping:

  • 2–3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2️⃣ Make cream cheese filling

  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.

3️⃣ Mix dry ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

4️⃣ Mix wet ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla, and milk.

5️⃣ Combine

  • Stir dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  • Gently fold in blueberries.

6️⃣ Layer the bread

  • Pour half of the batter into the pan.
  • Dollop cream cheese mixture over batter.
  • Pour remaining batter on top.
  • Optional: swirl lightly with a knife.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if using.

7️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 50–60 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean (avoid piercing cream cheese directly).
  • Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack.

🔥 Tips & Variations

  • Extra blueberry flavor: add 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Chocolate twist: sprinkle mini chocolate chips over cream cheese layer
  • Make muffins: bake 18–22 minutes for individual servings
  • Cream cheese swirl: don’t over-swirl, or it will disappear

If you want, I can give a quick 1-bowl version that’s super easy and still has a beautiful cream cheese swirl 😏.

Do you want that one-bowl version?
