🍌 Classic Banana Bread (Moist & Flavorful)

A simple, comforting loaf that’s perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

🛒 Ingredients (Makes 1 loaf)

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup butter, melted (or vegetable oil)
  • ¾ cup sugar (can use brown sugar for extra flavor)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2️⃣ Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

3️⃣ Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.

4️⃣ Combine: Gently fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined (don’t overmix). Stir in nuts or chocolate if using.

5️⃣ Bake: Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

6️⃣ Cool: Let the bread cool 10 minutes in the pan, then remove to a wire rack.

🌟 Tips for Best Banana Bread

  • Overripe bananas are best (spots = sweetness).
  • For extra moisture, add ¼ cup sour cream or yogurt.
  • Swirl in peanut butter or Nutella for a fun twist.
  • Store wrapped at room temperature for 2–3 days or freeze for longer.

If you want, I can give you three special variations:

  1. Chocolate banana bread
  2. Coconut and banana bread
  3. Healthy oat banana bread

Do you want me to make those variations?
