Baked Stuffed Shrimp

Posted on April 1, 2026 by Admin

Baked stuffed shrimp is a classic, slightly fancy dish—large shrimp filled with a buttery, flavorful stuffing and baked until golden. It’s surprisingly easy to make at home.

🍤 Baked Stuffed Shrimp

🧂 Ingredients

  • 10–12 large shrimp (peeled & deveined, tails on)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper

Optional additions:

  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Crab meat (for richer stuffing)
  • Chili flakes for heat

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the shrimp

  • Butterfly the shrimp (slice along the back without cutting through).
  • Open them flat and place in a greased baking dish.

2. Make the stuffing

  • Mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Add a little water or more butter if it feels too dry.

3. Stuff the shrimp

  • Spoon the mixture onto each shrimp, pressing gently so it sticks.

4. Bake

  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 12–15 minutes until shrimp are pink and topping is golden.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes
  • Pair with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables
  • Add lemon wedges on the side

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overbake—shrimp cook fast and can turn rubbery
  • Use large shrimp for best presentation
  • Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a crispy top

🔥 Flavor Variations

🧄 Garlic Butter Style

  • Add extra butter + garlic

🦀 Seafood Deluxe

  • Mix crab meat into stuffing

🌶️ Spicy Version

  • Add chili flakes or paprika

If you want, I can give you a restaurant-style cheesy version or a budget-friendly version using small shrimp 👍
