🥔 Baked Potato (Crispy Skin, Fluffy Inside)

Simple, classic, and perfect as a side or loaded meal.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 1–4)

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Coarse salt
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits

🔥 Oven Method (Best Texture)

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

2️⃣ Prep potatoes

  • Scrub clean and dry thoroughly.
  • Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork.
  • Rub with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt.

3️⃣ Bake

  • Place directly on oven rack (for crispier skin).
  • Bake 45–60 minutes until fork-tender.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Slice open, fluff with a fork.
  • Add butter and your favorite toppings.

⚡ Faster Method (Microwave + Oven)

  • Microwave 5–8 minutes per potato.
  • Finish in 425°F oven for 10–15 minutes to crisp the skin.

🌿 Tips

  • Russets are best for fluffy texture.
  • Don’t wrap in foil if you want crispy skin.
