Posted on January 20, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a crispy Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries recipe—golden on the outside, fluffy inside, and packed with flavor 🧄🧀🍟

Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries (Serves 3–4)

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 220°C / 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep the potatoes
    • Wash and cut potatoes into even fries.
    • Soak in cold water for 20–30 minutes (optional but helps crispiness).
    • Drain and pat completely dry.
  3. Season
    • In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Bake
    • Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet (don’t overcrowd).
    • Bake 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
  5. Add Parmesan
    • Remove fries from oven, sprinkle Parmesan evenly over the top.
    • Return to oven for 3–5 minutes until cheese melts and lightly browns.
  6. Finish & serve
    • Sprinkle with parsley. Serve hot with ketchup, garlic aioli, or ranch.

Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Use russet potatoes (high starch = crispier fries)
  • Dry potatoes thoroughly before oiling
  • For ultra-crisp fries, preheat the baking sheet in the oven before adding potatoes

Variations

  • Spicy: Add chili flakes or cayenne
  • Cheesy overload: Mix Parmesan with mozzarella
  • Air fryer: Cook at 200°C / 400°F for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway

If you want, I can give you a restaurant-style version with garlic butter drizzle or a healthier air-fryer method.
