Angel chicken pasta

Ahhh Angel Chicken Pasta — creamy, cozy, crowd-pleasing comfort food 😌🍝
Here’s the classic version (easy + very forgiving).


🍗 Angel Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2–3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet (about 20–25 g) Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can (300 g / 10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 200 g (7 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • 450 g (1 lb) angel hair pasta
  • Optional: grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the chicken

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.

2️⃣ Make the sauce

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cream cheese, and herbs.
  • Simmer on low, stirring, until smooth and creamy.

3️⃣ Cook the pasta

  • Boil angel hair according to package directions (usually 3–4 minutes).
  • Drain.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Add chicken back to sauce.
  • Toss pasta with sauce until coated.

5️⃣ Finish

  • Top with Parmesan and a pinch of chili flakes if you like heat.

🔥 Tips & Variations

  • Slow cooker version: Cook chicken + sauce on LOW 4–5 hrs, shred chicken, stir in cream cheese at the end
  • Lighter: Use half cream cheese, half Greek yogurt
  • Add veggies: Spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes
  • Extra rich: Splash of heavy cream or butter at the end
