All Day Breakfast Croissant

Posted on March 15, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a delicious way to make an All Day Breakfast Croissant — flaky, buttery, and packed with classic breakfast flavors. 🥐🍳🥓

Ingredients (per croissant)

  • 1 Croissant, preferably fresh or lightly toasted
  • 1–2 Eggs
  • 2–3 slices Bacon or Sausage
  • 1 slice Cheddar Cheese or Swiss Cheese
  • ¼ Avocado (optional)
  • 1–2 tbsp Butter or oil for cooking
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional extras: spinach, tomato slices, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the protein
    • Fry bacon or sausage in a skillet until crisp. Set aside.
  2. Cook the egg
    • In the same skillet, melt a bit of butter.
    • Cook the egg to your preference: fried, scrambled, or even a soft omelet style. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Prepare the croissant
    • Slice the croissant in half horizontally. Optionally toast lightly for extra crispness.
  4. Assemble
    • Layer the croissant with cheese, cooked bacon or sausage, egg, and optional avocado or vegetables.
    • Close the croissant and press gently.
  5. Optional melt
    • For a warm, melty finish, wrap in foil and place in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 5 minutes, or heat in a skillet with a lid until cheese melts.
  6. Serve
    • Enjoy immediately with coffee or your favorite breakfast drink.

Tips

  • Add a smear of mayonnaise, pesto, or sriracha for extra flavor.
  • Spinach, arugula, or tomato slices make it slightly fresher and more colorful.
  • Double the protein if you want a truly “all-day” hearty breakfast croissant.

I can also give a meal-prep version where you can assemble 3–4 croissants ahead of time and just heat them in the morning. Do you want that version?
