Here’s a vibrant and flavorful recipe for Steak and Shrimp Jerk Pasta — a Caribbean-inspired dish with spicy jerk seasoning, tender steak, succulent shrimp, and a creamy pasta sauce.

🥩🍤 Steak & Shrimp Jerk Pasta

Ingredients (Serves 4)

Protein:

  • 8 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2–3 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Pasta & Sauce:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook Pasta

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

2️⃣ Cook Steak & Shrimp

  • Toss steak and shrimp with jerk seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness; remove and set aside.
  • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque; remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Make Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter.
  • Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in heavy cream and broth; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Toss pasta with sauce.
  • Add steak and shrimp back in, gently mixing to coat.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with parsley or cilantro and serve immediately.

Tips & Variations

  • Add a squeeze of lime for extra brightness.
  • Use scallions or roasted cherry tomatoes for more flavor and color.
  • For extra heat, add cayenne or red pepper flakes.

I can also give you a one-pan version where pasta, steak, and shrimp cook together for minimal cleanup and faster prep if you want.

Do you want me to make that one-pan version?
