Here’s a flavorful Steak and Shrimp Jerk Pasta recipe — a perfect mix of spicy, savory, and creamy with a Caribbean twist.

🥩🍤 Steak & Shrimp Jerk Pasta

Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the protein:

  • 8 oz sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2–3 tbsp jerk seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the pasta:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook Pasta

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.

2️⃣ Cook Steak & Shrimp

  • Toss steak and shrimp with jerk seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness, remove and rest.
  • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Make Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter.
  • Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in cream and broth, simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Add Parmesan and season with salt and pepper. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Toss pasta with sauce.
  • Add steak and shrimp back in, gently mixing to coat.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with parsley or cilantro. Serve immediately.

Tips & Variations

  • Add a squeeze of lime for extra brightness.
  • Use scallions or roasted cherry tomatoes for more flavor.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes.

I can also give you a one-pan version where pasta, steak, and shrimp all cook together for minimal cleanup if you want a quicker weeknight option.

Do you want me to make that version?
