Strawberry brownies

Here’s a sweet, fruity twist on classic brownies — Strawberry Brownies that are fudgy, chocolatey, and full of fresh strawberry flavor 🍓🍫


Strawberry Brownies

Serves: 9–12
Time: 35–40 minutes


Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (25 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Strawberry Swirl:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Oven

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Make Strawberry Puree

  • In a small bowl, mash chopped strawberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  • Set aside.

3️⃣ Make Brownie Batter

  • Melt butter and let cool slightly.
  • Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold gently until combined.

4️⃣ Assemble

  • Pour brownie batter into prepared pan.
  • Spoon strawberry puree over the top.
  • Use a knife or skewer to swirl the strawberries into the batter for a marbled effect.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean (slightly fudgy is ideal).

6️⃣ Cool & Serve

  • Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
  • Optional: drizzle with melted white chocolate or dust with powdered sugar.

Tips & Variations

  • Use frozen strawberries if fresh aren’t available — thaw and drain excess liquid first.
  • Add chocolate chips or white chocolate chunks for extra richness.
  • For a denser, fudgier brownie, reduce flour to 1/3 cup (30 g).
