Here’s a simple and flavorful Cauliflower Steaks recipe — hearty, roasted, and full of flavor 🌿🥦

Roasted Cauliflower Steaks

Serves: 2–4
Time: ~30–35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley or lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Cauliflower

  • Remove leaves and trim the stem, keeping the head intact.
  • Slice cauliflower 1–1.5 cm (½ inch) thick steaks from the center. You should get 2–4 “steaks” depending on size; use florets for roasting alongside if needed.

2️⃣ Season

  • Brush both sides of each steak with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly.

3️⃣ Roast

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Place steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve as a side or main with grains, sauces, or protein.

Tips & Variations

  • Add Parmesan cheese on top before the last 5 minutes of roasting for a cheesy crust.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
  • Grill cauliflower steaks for a smoky, charred flavor.

If you want, I can also give a creamy garlic butter cauliflower steak version that’s rich and indulgent while staying vegetarian.
