Ravioli Lasagna

Here’s an easy, crowd-pleasing Ravioli Lasagna recipe 🍝
(No boiling noodles, very simple.)


Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook meat (if using) in a skillet until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat. Stir in pasta sauce.
  3. Assemble layers in a greased 9×13 baking dish:
    • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom.
    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.
    • Spoon ricotta (if using) over ravioli.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan.
    • Add sauce.
  4. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with sauce and cheese on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Variations

  • Vegetarian: Add spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini.
  • Alfredo version: Use Alfredo sauce and chicken ravioli.
  • Extra cheesy: Mix mozzarella and provolone.
  • Spicy: Add red pepper flakes or spicy sausage.

Make-Ahead Tip

Assemble, cover tightly, and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
