Chicken breast

Posted on February 24, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and reliable way to cook chicken breast so it stays juicy and flavorful, whether you bake, pan-sear, or grill it. 🍗

🥩 Juicy Chicken Breast

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, rosemary, or oregano

1️⃣ Oven-Baked Chicken Breast

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  4. Place on a greased baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes (depending on thickness) until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

2️⃣ Pan-Seared Chicken Breast

  1. Heat 1–2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts as above.
  3. Sear 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove from pan and let rest 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Grilled Chicken Breast

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  2. Brush chicken with oil and season.
  3. Grill 6–8 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  4. Check for an internal temp of 165°F (74°C).

Tips for Moist Chicken

  • Pound thicker breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Don’t overcook; resting after cooking helps retain juices.
  • Marinate for 30–60 minutes for extra flavor.

I can also give a cheese-and-bacon stuffed chicken breast recipe or a lemon-garlic baked version that’s extra juicy and flavorful.
