🥩🍗🍤 Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp (Surf & Turf Trio)

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

Proteins

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or NY strip)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Seasoning Blend

  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme (optional)
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning (optional for spice)

Garlic Butter

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Season Everything

  • Pat proteins dry.
  • Mix seasoning blend and coat chicken, steak, and shrimp evenly.

2️⃣ Cook the Steak

  1. Heat a skillet (cast iron preferred) over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  3. Cook steak 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness and desired doneness).
  4. Remove and let rest at least 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  1. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed.
  2. Cook chicken 6–7 minutes per side until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Remove and rest.

4️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

  1. Add shrimp to skillet.
  2. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. Do not overcook.

5️⃣ Make Garlic Butter

  1. Lower heat.
  2. Add butter and garlic to skillet.
  3. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in parsley and lemon juice.

Spoon garlic butter over sliced steak, chicken, and shrimp.

🍽️ Serve With

  • Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Rice or buttered noodles
  • Steamed vegetables
  • Side salad

🔥 Pro Tips

  • Let steak rest before slicing to keep juices inside.
  • Cook shrimp last — they cook very fast.
  • Add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter for extra depth.
  • Finish steak with a pat of butter while resting for steakhouse flavor.
