Here’s a rich and flavorful Tuscan Shrimp recipe — tender shrimp in a creamy garlic-tomato sauce with spinach and Parmesan.


🍤 Tuscan Shrimp

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Cooked pasta, rice, or crusty bread, for serving

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add cherry tomatoes and cook 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

3️⃣ Add Spinach and Shrimp

  1. Add fresh spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted.
  2. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley.

  • Extra flavor: Add a splash of white wine when sautéing garlic and tomatoes.
