🥔 Air Fryer Potatoes

Air fryer potatoes are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and much quicker than oven roasting. Perfect as a side dish or snack.

📝 Crispy Air Fryer Potatoes (Serves 2–4)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) potatoes (russet, Yukon gold, or red), cut into cubes or wedges
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

2️⃣ Prepare Potatoes

  • Toss potato cubes or wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Optional: add chopped fresh herbs for extra flavor.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
  • Cook 15–20 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.
  • Check for crispiness; cook 2–5 more minutes if needed.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Serve immediately as a side with your favorite protein, or sprinkle with Parmesan for extra flavor.

🔥 Tips

  • Cut potatoes evenly for uniform cooking.
  • For extra crispiness, soak potato cubes in cold water for 20 minutes, then pat dry before tossing with oil and seasonings.
  • Use a light coating of oil to get golden, not greasy, potatoes.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • As a side with steak, chicken, or pork
  • Topped with sour cream and chives for a baked-potato-style snack
  • Tossed with roasted garlic or Parmesan cheese
  • Serve alongside eggs for a breakfast hash

I can also give a smoky paprika air fryer potato wedges recipe or a loaded cheese-and-bacon version if you want a more indulgent option.
