🥬 Spinach Artichoke Dip

Spinach artichoke dip is a creamy, cheesy appetizer perfect for parties, served warm with bread, crackers, or vegetables. Its rich flavor comes from a blend of cheeses, garlic, and tender spinach and artichoke hearts.

📝 Classic Spinach Artichoke Dip (Serves 6–8)

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz / 400 g) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (10 oz / 280 g) package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

2️⃣ Mix Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Fold in chopped spinach and artichoke hearts until evenly combined.

3️⃣ Bake

  • Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
  • Bake 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  • Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for a golden top.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.

🔥 Tips

  • For extra creaminess, add ¼ cup heavy cream.
  • Use fresh spinach for a brighter flavor — sauté first to remove excess water.
  • Mix in some chopped green onions or roasted garlic for extra depth.
  • Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Party appetizer with crackers or bread slices
  • As a topping for baked potatoes
  • Spread in sandwiches or wraps
  • Served with fresh vegetable sticks (carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers)

I can also provide a hot skillet version that stays warm for entertaining or a slow cooker version for effortless prep. Do you want me to give one of those?
