Air fryer salmon

Posted on February 16, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a quick, flavorful Air Fryer Salmon recipe — crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside.

🐟 Air Fryer Salmon

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, 6–8 oz each)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: lemon wedges and fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or thyme)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Salmon

  • Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

2️⃣ Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

3️⃣ Cook the Salmon

  • Place salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if applicable.
  • Cook 7–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  • No need to flip unless using very thick fillets.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Squeeze fresh lemon over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • For extra crisp skin, brush lightly with oil and cook skin-side down.
  • You can brush a glaze (honey mustard, teriyaki, or garlic butter) over salmon in the last 2 minutes for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2–3 days and are great in salads or sandwiches.
