Here’s a juicy, flavorful chicken breast recipe that’s simple, versatile, and perfect for weeknight dinners.

🍗 Garlic Herb Chicken Breast

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (or 1 tbsp fresh)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme/rosemary.

2️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken breasts and cook 5–6 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • In the last 1–2 minutes, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

3️⃣ Rest and Serve

  • Remove chicken from the skillet and let rest 3–5 minutes.
  • Optional: drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or salad.

💡 Tips

  • Pound thicker chicken breasts for even cooking.
  • Add fresh herbs or a splash of chicken broth for a quick pan sauce.
  • Leftovers can be used in sandwiches, salads, or wraps.
  • For extra flavor, marinate chicken 30–60 minutes in olive oil, garlic, and herbs before cooking.
