Here’s a simple and versatile Chicken Breast recipe — juicy, flavorful, and perfect as a main dish.

🍗 Pan-Seared Garlic Herb Chicken Breast

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and onion powder.

2️⃣ Cook

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken breasts and sear 5–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • In the last 1–2 minutes, add garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.

3️⃣ Finish

  • Optional: squeeze lemon juice over the chicken for a bright finish.
  • Let chicken rest 3–5 minutes before slicing.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, pasta, or a side salad.

💡 Tips

  • Pound thicker chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Add fresh herbs like rosemary or parsley for extra flavor.
  • For a creamy option, add a splash of cream or chicken broth to the pan after cooking and make a quick pan sauce.
  • Leftover chicken can be sliced for sandwiches, salads, or wraps.
