Here’s a comforting Slow Cooker Creamy Garlic Pork Chops and Potatoes recipe — tender pork chops in a rich, garlicky sauce with soft, flavorful potatoes.

🥘 Slow Cooker Creamy Garlic Pork Chops and Potatoes

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan for extra creaminess
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Slow Cooker

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.

2️⃣ Layer Ingredients

  • Place sliced potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Top with onion slices.
  • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme, then place on top.
  • Sprinkle garlic over the top.

3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth and cream.
  • Pour over pork chops and potatoes.
  • Dot with butter (and Parmesan if using).

4️⃣ Cook

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until pork is tender and potatoes are cooked through.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Spoon creamy sauce over pork chops and potatoes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or a green salad.

💡 Tips

  • Use bone-in pork chops for more flavor.
  • For a thicker sauce, remove pork and potatoes after cooking and stir in 1–2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water; cook on HIGH 10–15 minutes.
  • Add carrots, mushrooms, or peas for extra veggies.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for 2–3 days.

If you want, I can also give you a cheesy version or a slow cooker garlic herb pork chops with crispy potatoes on top.
