Here’s a classic Buffalo Wings recipe — crispy, spicy, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or game-day treat.

🍗 Classic Buffalo Wings

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2 lbs (900g) chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

For the Buffalo Sauce:

  • ½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp white vinegar (optional for tang)
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Optional for Serving:

  • Celery sticks
  • Carrot sticks
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Wings

  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • Toss with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oil.

2️⃣ Cook the Wings

Oven method:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  • Bake 35–45 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and golden.

Alternative:

  • Deep-fry wings in oil at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until cooked through and crispy.

3️⃣ Make the Buffalo Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Stir in hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes until combined.

4️⃣ Toss Wings in Sauce

  • Place cooked wings in a large bowl.
  • Pour buffalo sauce over wings and toss until evenly coated.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Serve hot with celery, carrots, and blue cheese or ranch dressing.

💡 Tips

  • For extra crispy wings, pat them very dry and bake on a wire rack.
  • Adjust hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
  • For a smoky twist, add smoked paprika to the seasoning.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for crispiness.
