Here’s an easy, fall-off-the-bone Crockpot Barbecue Ribs recipe 🍖🔥

🍖 Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

Serves: 4–6

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (or St. Louis–style ribs)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for brushing)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Ribs

  • Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (helps tenderness).
  • Pat dry with paper towels.

2️⃣ Make the Dry Rub

  • Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder.
  • Rub mixture all over both sides of ribs.

3️⃣ Slow Cook

  • Cut ribs into sections to fit your crockpot.
  • Place inside standing upright or stacked.
  • Pour 1 cup barbecue sauce and Worcestershire over ribs.
  • Cover and cook:
    • Low: 6–8 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours

Ribs are done when very tender but not falling apart completely.

4️⃣ Broil for That Sticky Finish 🔥

  • Carefully transfer ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush generously with more barbecue sauce.
  • Broil 3–5 minutes until caramelized and slightly charred.

💡 Tips

  • Don’t add extra liquid — ribs release their own juices.
  • For smoky flavor, add ½ teaspoon liquid smoke to the sauce.
  • Let ribs rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

If you’d like, I can also give you:
• 🌶 A spicy honey chipotle version
• 🍯 A sweet brown sugar–bourbon glaze
• 🔥 A dry-rub Memphis-style version (no sauce)

Which one sounds good?
