Chicken breast

Posted on February 14, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and versatile chicken breast recipe that’s juicy, flavorful, and easy to make:

Pan-Seared Garlic Herb Chicken Breast

Serves: 2–3

Ingredients

  • 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary (or fresh, finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken
    • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried herbs.
  2. Heat the pan
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken
    • Add chicken breasts to the skillet. Sear 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and butter (if using), and spoon melted butter over the chicken for extra flavor.
  4. Check doneness
    • Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
    • Let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
  5. Serve
    • Serve with lemon wedges, over rice, pasta, or alongside roasted vegetables.

💡 Tips:

  • Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Marinate in olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs for 30 minutes for extra flavor.
  • You can also bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes instead of pan-searing.

If you want, I can give a baked creamy herb chicken breast recipe that’s even juicier and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Do you want me to provide that version?
