Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4–6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1–2 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for a tangy finish)
  • 1–2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.

2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts

  • Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
  • Slice each sprout in half from top to bottom.

3. Toss with Bacon and Oil

  • In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, chopped bacon, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss until evenly coated.

4. Roast

  • Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet.
